Brian MacNamee MSc MA BA(Hons) has masters’ level degrees in both marketing and environmental management.
Over 25 years’ experience in sustainability programmes in the public and private sectors, managing energy and environmental projects, as well as the development of staff engagement programmes and technical information products.
He has expert knowledge of energy and environmental behaviour change in the workplace, including motivational and engagement issues.
Noel Burns MSc PGDip BSc(Hons) is an environmental training specialist. Significant environmental programme management and senior advisory roles in the public and private sectors spanning 20 years.
International construction management experience including working in a Chartered RICS practice for a number of years, delivering financial assessments for banks and funding agencies for tourism related development and infrastructure projects.
He was previously an Associate Director at the Building Research Establishment, UK.
Colin Ashford has been an energy manager responsible for estates totalling almost 3,000 buildings. He has been a Member of Council of CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers) for 20 years, and Chairman of CIBSE Home Counties South-East Region for a total of five years.
He was awarded the CIBSE Silver Medal for service to the Institution in 2010 and is a recognised expert on building services and effective application of energy design principles. He led the development of the Low Carbon Design Initiative and associated performance specifications for the Carbon Trust (Northern Ireland).

Thomas Pinder
IT SPECIALIST – NETWORK PLATFORMS
Barrie Waring MSc provides specialised energy advice on industrial and commercial heating, ventilation and air-conditioning; as well as undertaking investigations and giving advice into system design, deficiencies and faults, giving recommendations into plant or system rectification and improvement.
He is an assessor for ‘best in class’ energy efficiency products under SEAI’s Triple E scheme.
Thomas Pinder MSc BEng is a computer programmer and web developer. 15 years IT experience has included work with a diverse range of IT systems.
Thomas developed and managed the following energy-related online peer group communication platforms: Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) Energy Link – from 2012 to present. Carbon Trust Public Sector Networks – from 2004 to present and SME Network – from 2012 to present.
